Job description

A PE-backed marketplace management firm in West Palm Beach is adding a BI Engineer to their
lean engineering team. This company manages Amazon channel strategy for some of the largest
brands on the platform and runs a fact-based, data-driven operation that depends on clean,
fast data.
The role spans the full data lifecycle: data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, warehouse
modeling in Redshift, and Power BI dashboard delivery. Roughly half the time involves direct
stakeholder interaction -- gathering requirements from internal business teams and translating
them into data products. Some work with external clients is also involved.
This is a high-ownership role on a small team. The right candidate has worked the full stack
from raw source to finished dashboard and holds themselves to a high standard without needing
close oversight.
What you bring:
- 4+ years in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering
- Strong SQL -- complex queries, schema design, performance tuning
- Power BI dashboard development and data model ownership
- Cloud data warehouse experience (Redshift or comparable)
- Dimensional modeling and database design
- Power Query for analyst-facing data prep
Nice to have:
- dbt or comparable SQL transformation tooling
- Airflow or Airbyte (or comparable ETL and orchestration)
- Python for data tasks
- Amazon marketplace or e-commerce data experience
