Job Description

To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. client's Subscribe & Save (SnS) program ($20+ billion in revenue) within the Consumables organization is looking for an analytical, driven, and creative leader to drive strategically important operational & technical initiatives through business intelligence, analysis & insights.
  • The Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) is an innovative, results driven professional that executes continuous improvement through data-driven actions.
  • The individual must exercise strong judgment and autonomy in the identification and execution of strategic improvement plans built on cross-Category, Technology, and Operations partnerships.
  • This role will impact and inform how client executes its SnS business across its replenishment business.
  • The individual should possess a track record of successful relationship management, strong business and analytical acumen, and experience working with technology and engineering teams.
  • Great communication skills, ability to think big and influence across client teams and high ownership to deliver successful results will be essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Holistically architecting an end-to-end BI landscape that activates reporting, analysis & insights for the SnS business that includes building and harvesting datasets, data pipelines, ETL, application of custom logic, data visualization & story-telling to drive the business forward.
  • Creating new reporting to inform business reviews, deep dive analyzer tools, and more emerging strategy efforts.
  • Improving auditing tools to understand relevant inputs and identify gaps in technology systems to support creation of new capabilities to drive business operating leverage.
  • Building insights-oriented visualization tools in Quicksight or Tableau to enhance existing ways of work for product managers, program managers, vendor managers, finance partners, and stakeholder partner teams.
  • Challenging existing process and work streams with data-driven insights that offer alternatives that are cost neutral, or favorable, but drive much more scalable execution.
  • Partnering across the SnS teams as well as the central CADE team to create an intelligence roadmap that addresses core areas for automation, scale, and business financial productivity.
  • Scaling roadmap and solutions across categories by ensuring cross-company impact is measured and supported by stakeholder businesses.
  • Understanding the value chain within the broader client site experience to inform new insights on customer engagement.
  • Developing a knowledge repository for SnS data intelligence as part of an evolving center of excellence that can be referred to outside of the SnS busines

Job Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud, Redshift, AWS Andes, Glue
  • Background (academic or professional) in statistics, programming, and marketing
  • Graduate degree in math/statistics, computer science or related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders

Degree:
