Description
General Summary:
The Engineering Intern assists the Manufacturing Engineering Team with production projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital justifications. The position provides hands-on engineering experience in an Aerospace facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications.
  • Generated drawings from models
  • Editorial changes on tool sheet or setup instructions
  • Create work instructions on jobs or special processes
  • Special projects, such as implementation of Zoller software
  • Submission on flight safety documents
  • Fixture designs
  • Works on other projects as assigned by Manager

Position Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Junior/Senior Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferred
  • Extremely well-organized with superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, work in a high pace environment and meet deadlines.
