Job Summary:
This role involves guiding student leaders in planning and executing various activities and initiatives, ensuring they follow school policies, and helping them develop leadership skills.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to student senators, officers, and committee members.
  • Assist in the development of agendas, meeting protocols, and governance procedures.
  • Help plan and facilitate regular senate meetings.
  • Ensure meetings are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Teach parliamentary procedures and democratic processes.
  • Assist students in planning school events such as dances, fundraisers, assemblies, and community service projects.
  • Ensure all student government activities comply with school policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the student senate and school administration.
  • Communicate with students, families, staff and teachers.
  • Performs other related duties as required by the Principal, Assistant Superintendent and/or Superintendent

Education and Experience:
  • Education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration
