The Shelton Public School system has a vacancy for a PARAEDUCATOR POSITION
LOCATION: SHELTON INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL
In accordance with Article 7, Vacancies and Transfers of the Agreement between the Shelton Board of Education and the Shelton Paraeducators, Local 1303-196 of Council #4, AFSCME, the above vacancy will be posted internally for five (5) business days beginning today through the close of business Friday, August 28, 2026. This posting is for currently employed Shelton Public Schools paraeducators and members of Local 1303-196 of Council #4 (American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO).
Per Article 7.4, any Shelton Public School paraeducator interested in this vacancy shall apply to Human Resources via electronic application within ten (10) days from the date of posting (no later than the close of business on Friday, September 4, 2026).
