Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices and pay within terms
  • Balance inventory
  • Enter standard journal entries at month end
  • Prepare daily accounting reports
  • Maintain various Excel spreadsheets
  • Prepare monthly financials
  • Reconcile various accounts at month-end
  • Prepare monthly sales tax returns
  • Prepare Daily Bank Deposits
  • Organize and dispatch Post Office
  • All other duties as assigned based on the needs of the business

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accounting Degree or a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the accounting field preferred
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles
  • Personal effectiveness/credibility and solid ethical conduct
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal, and written form
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
  • Problem solving and investigative skills with the ability to handle pressure and think clearly in all situations
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proven ability to navigate through multiple screens effectively
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Knowledge and experience working with accounting software
  • Ability to understand and apply safe handling procedures of all materials used in the general office area
  • Must have initiative and the ability to work in a team-environment
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Must have clean background check
  • Must have a clean MVR
