About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to attorneys handling intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. This role will be responsible for USPTO filings, docket management, legal document preparation, and coordinating domestic and foreign filings.

Responsibilities
• Draft, edit, proofread, and prepare legal correspondence and intellectual property documents
• Prepare, review, and electronically file U.S. patent and trademark applications and related documents with the USPTO
• Maintain patent and trademark docketing systems and track filing deadlines, office actions, maintenance fees, renewals, and other critical dates
• Prepare and distribute docket and status reports for attorneys, clients, and management
• Assist with patent and trademark prosecution, including preparing declarations, assignments, powers of attorney, IDSs, and supporting documents
• Coordinate domestic and foreign patent and trademark filings
• Conduct legal research and evaluate relevant information
• Maintain client files, databases, and legal documents
• Provide administrative support including data entry, proofreading, and file maintenance
Qualifications
• 2+ years of related paralegal experience, preferably in an intellectual property law firm
• Experience with patent and trademark prosecution and USPTO filings preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software such as iManage
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
• Professional, client-focused approach with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality
