As an Ethernet Hardware Engineer you will design, debug, and verify Intel's next generation of Ethernet products.

The designs you help create will become products and serve as examples for our customers to integrate Intel's Ethernet Products into their systems.

You will work as a part of a team who all work who collaborate, teach, and improve one another to deliver solutions to Intel's customers.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Power on, debug, and testing of systems in our labs including building, making electrical measurements, Python scripting, and PCIe and Ethernet Interfaces.
  • Creating Schematic Designs.
  • Reviewing PCB designs and performing critical routing with Cadence Allegro.
  • Collaborating with a team of Designers, Engineers, Experts, Technicians and Program Managers build, test, and manufacture Ethernet Board Designs.
  • Collaborating with vendors to evaluate circuit components.
  • Partner with Silicon Designers, Mechanical Designers, Architects, and Software Engineers to specify and optimize product designs.
  • Supporting our customers and internal teams with documentation, reference designs, test results, specifications, and top-tier technical support.
  • Organizing teams of experts to solve problems.
  • Communicating results and recommendations to customers.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • OR Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience listed above should be a combination of the following:
    • Design, debug, and testing of computing or networking products.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Proven experience in collaborating across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.
