Overall Job Summary

Tractor Supply Company is looking for a strategic, curious, and collaborative Senior Manager of Integrated Media Strategy to help connect business priorities to effective media plans across key paid media channels. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full media landscape, can turn customer and business insights into actionable recommendations, and enjoys bringing teams together to deliver work that drives brand momentum and measurable results.

The Senior Manager will lead integrated media planning across digital, linear TV, streaming video, audio, print, search, paid social, programmatic, and emerging media. This role partners closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, Analytics, eCommerce, Finance, agency teams, and media partners to support audience-first strategies tied to customer growth, seasonal priorities, promotional moments, and long-term brand strength.

This is an opportunity for a media leader who is equal parts strategist, collaborator, storyteller, and coach. The right candidate will help guide media investment recommendations, manage a talented team, support cross-functional decision-making, and advance Tractor Supply's media approach in a fast-changing marketplace

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Integrated Media & Planning 
   Lead development of full-funnel integrated media strategies across all media channels.
   Build annual, quarterly, & campaign-level media plans that align with company growth priorities, customer objectives, seasonal campaigns, & promotional moments.
   Develop audience-first media strategies using customer insights, first-party data, research tools, historical performance, and market trends to inform channel mix, targeting, investment levels, & messaging opportunities.
   Support media investment recommendations across channels, audiences, objectives, & business priorities.
   Partner with teams to connect media plans to measurable brand, customer, traffic, revenue, & efficiency outcomes.
   Identify new media opportunities, audience strategies, and test-and-learn initiatives that help Tractor Supply break through media clutter & improve campaign effectiveness.
   Stay current on the evolving media marketplace.

Agency, Vendor & Cross-Functional Leadership
   Serve as key strategic media partner across internal teams, agency partners, & media vendors.
   Partner with agency teams & media vendors to develop, evaluate, negotiate, & execute media plans that support campaign & business objectives.
   Collaborate with other business units to ensure media plans are aligned to business priorities & customer experience goals.
   Contribute to campaign briefs, strategy sessions, creative reviews, media recommendations, & post-campaign readouts.
   Evaluate media opportunities, sponsorships, partnerships, & emerging advertising solutions based on strategic fit, audience relevance, measurement capability, & expected impact.
   Develop clear strategic point of view & support decision-making across cross-functional groups.
   Build strong internal & external relationships to improve planning, decision-making, accountability, & execution.

Performance, Measurement & Optimization
   Monitor & evaluate media performance using key media, customer, traffic, revenue, brand, & efficiency metrics.
   Partner with Analytics & agency teams to support campaign measurement frameworks, learning agendas, incrementality opportunities, & performance readouts that connect media activity to business outcomes.
   Translate campaign results & performance trends into clear recommendations for senior leadership & cross-functional stakeholders.
   Lead optimization discussions across channel mix, audience strategy, creative performance, investment allocation, & campaign learnings.
   Ensure insights from major campaigns are documented & applied to future planning cycles.
   Champion a test-and-learn culture across media strategy, creative, audiences, & measurement.

Team Leadership
   Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of integrated media professionals, fostering strategic thinking, accountability, collaboration, & continuous improvement.
   Set clear priorities, expectations, & ways of working for team members, agency partners, & cross-functional stakeholders.
   Encourage curiosity, innovation, & smart risk-taking while maintaining a strong focus on business outcomes, operational excellence, & responsible media investment.
   Support Team Member growth through coaching, feedback, skill development, & opportunities to lead strategic planning, performance analysis, & cross-functional initiatives.
   Build team culture rooted in trust, transparency, respect, & shared ownership of results.

Required Qualifications

Experience
   7+ years of experience in media planning, integrated media strategy, digital marketing, performance marketing, or agency/client-side media management.
   3+ years of leadership experience managing a team of at least 2-3 people, agency partners, cross-functional workstreams, and/or multi-channel media budgets.
   Management of significant media investments ($40M+), preferably in an omnichannel retail, consumer brand, or agency environment.
   Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Meta, programmatic, media planning, or analytics certifications a plus.

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, or journalism. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

   Demonstrated experience developing full-funnel integrated media plans across multiple channels, including digital, video, audio, print, paid social, search, programmatic, and emerging media.
   Strong understanding of audience strategy, customer insights, media measurement, channel planning, and performance optimization. 
   Take multiple measurement/reporting tools (LTA, Omni-channel, MMM) and turn into digestible optimizations and insights
   Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Meta, programmatic, media planning, or analytics certifications a plus.
   Develop and defend a clear strategic point of view, influence senior stakeholders, and guide decision-making across cross-functional teams.
   Synthesize data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
   Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex information for executive audiences.
