To thrive as an Integrated Project Manager, you need a solid background in project management methodologies, cross-functional team leadership, and a relevant degree or PMP certification. Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira, and experience integrating workflows and systems is important. Job description

CALLING ALL BIG-HEARTED, BIG THINKING PEOPLE.
ARE YOU READY TO DO THE BEST WORK OF YOUR LIFE?
We seek strategists, creators, and communicators ready to do some heavy lifting-folks who aren't afraid to break glass and who thrive in collaboration. Those who bring conviction but can still see both sides of a coin. Because that's how real progress gets made. Join us.
WHO WE ARE
RALLY is an advocacy communications agency. Our entire business model-from our team to our process to the clients we partner with-is designed to drive progress around complex political, cultural, and social challenges. No matter the issue, we believe there's always a unique path forward. It's just a matter of finding it or creating it.
We take on the most complex political, cultural, and social challenges. Even when the path forward is rough or uncertain, we start with "what if we..." and keep going until change is possible.
We partner with visionary leaders and tireless changemakers. Our team has a proven track record of partnering with executives, staff, grantees, and boards to lead ambitious campaigns that shift the conversation and advance policies that matter. Whether serving as the agency of record for day-to-day communications, raising leaders' profiles through thought leadership, or helping organizations navigate and rebuild after a crisis, we are a co-pilot through thick and thicker.
We do inventive. We do creative. We do whatever it takes-and we don't stop until we win.
HOW WE WORK
We've built an agency that looks different. Our team is shaped by varied economic and cultural backgrounds and comes from the communities we engage with. We are comfortable with the unknown, the unknowable, and the counterintuitive. In fact, we are energized by difficult challenges.
Our work is grounded in the science of what moves people. Disciplines like psychology, anthropology, and economics teach us how identity, social norms, and emotion change minds and behavior. Paired with deep issue fluency and communications expertise, these persuasion principles ensure we meet audiences where they are with campaigns we know work.
But we don't just understand persuasion. We're fluent in the issues, experts in communications, and obsessed with our audiences. We go beyond the usual supporters to find and reach the unexpected ones.
That's the RALLY edge-and it's how we drive real impact.
INTEGRATED PROJECT MANAGER, CREATIVE & DIGITAL
RALLY is seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and solutions-oriented Integrated Project Manager to serve as the operational heartbeat of our creative and digital teams. At RALLY, we partner with the changemakers, advocates, and organizations shaping our culture and driving social impact. In this role, you won't just manage timelines, you will directly empower our teams to deliver powerful, purpose-driven campaigns that move the needle on the issues of our time.
Sitting at the intersection of project management, creative operations, resource coordination, and cross-functional account support, you'll shepherd complex, impactful projects from kickoff through flawless delivery. You'll partner closely with our creative, digital, strategy, and account teams, ensuring everyone has the clarity, structure, and runway they need to produce their absolute best work.
The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced rhythm and complexity of agency life but knows exactly how to bring calm and structure to dynamic creative environments. You are an expert at mapping timelines, balancing competing priorities, communicating clearly across diverse teams, and anticipating roadblocks before they become fire drills. You're a rare hybrid: someone who can effortlessly zoom out to see the big-picture operational strategy, then zoom in to handle hands-on project execution with precision.
You may currently be thriving as an Account Manager, Senior Account Executive, Producer, Traffic Manager, Project Manager, or Creative Operations lead within an agency, design studio, branding shop, or digital-first environment, and you're ready to apply those skills to something bigger.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Client Ownership
  • End-to-End Project Management: Support integrated creative and digital projects from kickoff to final delivery, ensuring alignment across design, video, digital, and communications teams.
  • Account Portfolio: Support a dedicated portfolio of 2-4 client accounts (scaling up over your first few months), serving as the primary operational contact for timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Financial Tracking: Monitor scopes, allocations, and budget health across various pricing structures, including retainers, hourly engagements, and project-based work.
Creative Operations & Resource Planning
  • Capacity & Allocation: Track team bandwidth, manage resource forecasting, and optimize utilization to prevent burnout and ensure balanced workloads.
  • Onboarding & Tool Management: Coordinate seamless intake for new clients and freelancers, setting up project trackers, email aliases, and tools (e.g., Harvest, Rippling).
  • Vendor Coordination: Support the sourcing, onboarding, and day-to-day management of freelance partners and external vendors.
Process Optimization & System Building
  • Architect Workflows: Identify operational gaps and build scalable solutions (SOPs, templates, intake forms, internal wikis) where none currently exist.
  • Streamline Communication: Refine approval paths, handoff processes, and time-tracking consistency across cross-functional verticals.
  • Team Enablement: Socialize project management best practices and lead internal trainings to help teams adopt more efficient ways of working.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Agency Background
  • 4-7 Years of Relevant Experience: Background in project management, creative operations, production, or account management.
  • Agency-Paced Track Record: Deep familiarity with fast-paced environments (creative agency, digital studio, branding shop, or integrated communications firm).
  • Creative Workflow Fluency: Solid understanding of the workflows for brand strategy, digital design, web/UI processes, video/content production, and integrated campaigns.
Systems & Tool Expertise
  • The "Builder" Mindset: Demonstrated experience architecting and launching operational systems, templates, and SOPs from scratch-not just maintaining pre-existing ones.
  • Tech Stack Savvy: Proficient in project management and tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Harvest, Airtable, Monday, Smartsheet) and digitally fluent enough to experiment with AI tools to optimize workflows.
Core Strengths & Mindset
  • Master of Momentum: Proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent workstreams, map tight timelines, and keep diverse stakeholders aligned.
  • Proactive & Adaptive: A sharp instinct for spotting project risks early, adapting to shifting priorities, and bringing calm, flexible problem-solving to ambiguous situations.
  • Low-Ego Collaborator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a natural ability to build relationships across different creative disciplines and seniority levels.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Previous experience in advocacy, social impact, cultural change, or mission-driven communications work.
