We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for our Novi, MI location, someone who reflects our core values of Dedicated, Confident, Fun, Team Player, and Problem Solver and is committed to delivering outstanding service.

Why You’ll Love Knight Watch, Inc.:

  • Join a winning team built on our core values of being Dedicated, Confident, Fun, a Team Player, and a Problem Solver—where shared success and strong execution matter every day.
  • Enjoy a strong benefits package with medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a company match to your 401(k)—because investing in our people matters.
  • Recharge and celebrate with seven paid holidays each year as part of a company that values balance, energy, and long-term success.
  • Build your future with competitive pay and a personalized growth roadmap that rewards progress, learning, and achievement.
  • Take the time you need with paid time off for vacation, personal days, and life’s important moments—because well-being matters.
  • Stay connected with the option of a company phone or your own iPhone with monthly reimbursement, giving you flexibility that supports how you work best.
  • Keep learning and growing with tuition reimbursement of up to $1,500 per semester as part of our investment in your development.
  • Be part of a strong team culture built on connection, accountability, and shared success.
  • Start with a strong onboarding process, a dedicated mentor, and hands-on training that prepares you to contribute from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts through strong relationships, proactive communication, and consistent follow-through.
  • Identify customer needs, uncover growth opportunities, and connect customers with Knight Watch solutions that create lasting value.
  • Pursue inbound leads, assigned opportunities, and self-directed prospecting with energy, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Guide opportunities through discovery, qualification, solution alignment, proposal delivery, and follow-up.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, RFP responses, and customer communications that reflect company standards and customer needs.
  • Partner with Solution Architects, Sales Operations Specialists, Account Executives, and Enterprise Account Directors to support smooth handoffs, complete documentation, and strong customer outcomes.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews, forecasting discussions, and sales team meetings while keeping CRM records, activity tracking, and opportunity data accurate and current.
  • Engage in ongoing sales, product, and technology training to continue building skills, confidence, and career growth.

What Success Looks Like in this Role:

  • Builds trusted, long-term customer relationships that create loyalty, confidence, and continued growth.
  • Keeps opportunity data and forecasting accurate so the team can make smart, timely business decisions.

  • Communicates clearly and professionally in writing, conversation, and presentations.
  • Stays organized, pays attention to the details, and follows through so work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Learns new technology with curiosity and confidence, then explains solutions in a way customers can understand.
  • Works well with others across departments and contributes to a positive, team-first culture.
  • Solves problems, manages time well, and keeps priorities moving forward.
  • Uses CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and quoting tools effectively to support strong sales execution.
  • Brings motivation, coachability, and a commitment to getting better every day.

Education & Experience

  • Brings sales, account management, customer relationship, or business development experience that supports success in a B2B environment.
  • Has experience preparing quotes, proposals, bids, or customer presentations, or is motivated to build those skills with the support of our team.
  • Understands physical security, technology solutions, systems integration, or related industries, or brings the curiosity and drive to learn them quickly.
  • Values growth, hands-on learning, and continuous improvement; formal education is welcome, but practical experience, strong character, and a commitment to winning as a team are just as important.
