Overview

Position: Rehab Aide

Location: Florissant, MO FLOAT- Must be willing to FLOAT to any of the 10 different Day Institutes.

Type of Employment: Full-Time 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30PCompensation:$18/Hour- Increases based on experience. 

Are you passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey? Do you enjoy working in an outpatient physical therapy setting? Come join our team as a rehab aide! In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities
  • Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
  • Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
  • Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
  • Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current State Driver's License in good standing required
  • Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

    • CPR certification
    • First aid certification
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
