Job description

Fighter Law is seeking a licensed attorney to join our team in a role that pairs a strong legal foundation with leadership of our client intake and engagement function. This position is ideal for a sharp legal mind who is passionate about connecting clients to solutions and has the leadership skills to coach and hold a team accountable to measurable outcomes. You will conduct client consultations, help qualify new matters, and directly supervise and coach our Client Engagement Specialist (CES) team - with the potential to take on additional case work depending on experience, interest, and Firm needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCase Management & Legal Practice
  • Depending on experience and Firm needs, opportunities may be available to support case work within one or more of Fighter Law's practice areas.
  • Apply your legal background and judgment to client consultations, case qualification, and strategic guidance for potential and current clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and the Legal Support Team to help matters move smoothly from intake forward.
Consultations & Legal Qualification
  • Conduct new client consultations across the Firm's practice areas.
  • Evaluate case viability, advise potential clients on legal options and next steps, and provide fee and payment plan recommendations in alignment with Firm guidelines.
CES Team Supervision & Compliance
  • Supervise the Client Engagement Specialist team, ensuring matters are created and documented in accordance with Firm SOPs.
  • Serve as the primary legal resource for the CES team on questions of case qualification, practice area eligibility, and county jurisdiction.
  • Review intake quality, flag errors or process gaps, and support onboarding and training of new CES team members.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired
  • Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum 3 years of legal experience in one or more of Fighter Law's practice areas (Criminal Defense, Family Law, Injunctions, Personal Injury, Guardianship or Probate).
  • Demonstrated sales or business development experience, with a track record of converting prospects or clients through relationship-building and consultative communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly in a consultation setting.
  • Comfort working in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, Clio Grow and Clio Manage.
Preferred
  • Experience supervising or mentoring support staff.
  • Background in legal intake, client development, or business development within a law firm.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
