Clinic Billing & Scheduling Coordinator--$24.00 per hour

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) seeks a full-time Clinic Billing & Scheduling Coordinator for their Outpatient Clinic in Easthampton, MA. The Clinic Billing & Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for completing 3rd Party Billing functions to aid in the accuracy of claims for services rendered by our providers. The Clinic Billing & Scheduling Coordinator will assist in tracking and obtaining client payments owed, and this position will handle processing all referrals, schedule appointments, and verify current insurance for clients.

The Clinic Billing & Scheduling Coordinator duties include:

Run BRS error report weekly

Review Client payments and apply to claims weekly

Track Claims & Follow-up with 3rd party billing company regarding claim denials

Review Client billing statements

Collect client balances outstanding and issue DNS warnings

Scheduling Coordinator Duties:

Process referrals; set up intakes; verify insurance.

Schedule follow up appointments for APRN and Psychiatrist.

Process new referrals and set up appointments for clinic.

Process new referrals and set up appointments

Send out on-call files - releases (ROI) and consents (consent to treatment and telehealth).

Administrative Duties:

Run insurance eligibility and enter clinical authorizations as needed

Assist in copayment/balances owed collections as well as verification of financial information

Respond to all intake calls, voicemails, website inquiries, and emails within 1-2 business days.

To be qualified, candidates must possess the following:

Medical Billing & Coding Certification

Experience- 3-5 years of experience working with 3rd party billing and scheduling related responsibilities required.

Approved CORI, DCF background checks
