CHAT is one of the best Large P & C insurance brokerages recognized by IBAO in 2024 and has been proud of providing insurance solutions to consumers in Ontario for over 10 years. We are extending our service to Ottawa and nearby locations.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. Both new and seasoned brokers are welcomed. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for analyzing clients' insurance needs, offering tailored solutions, and building lasting relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on both outside sales and retail environments, and offers uncapped commissions with excellent earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide expert advice on suitable coverage options.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies to secure the best outcomes for clients.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay informed about industry trends.

  • Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and expand the client base.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in compliance with company standards.

  • Provide ongoing customer service support, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance.

  • Stay updated on various insurance products and services to effectively communicate benefits to clients.

Experience

  • Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred, with a strong background in retail sales being advantageous.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close sales successfully.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

  • RIBO Licensed is preferred.

  • Being able to Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
