About this role

The DXC Sales Director, L&A is a consultative seller that can partner with clients to understand key value outcomes that our clients are looking to accomplish in the USA market. They regularly anchor DXC value propositions and sales strategies on strategic solutions that can deliver those client outcomes (i.e., the business and IT transformation objectives). The successful sales professional has strong hunter mentality, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, can navigate and coordinate stakeholders across large enterprises, and can present and position our capabilities with poise and polish to executive client contracts including C‑Suite level executives.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will lead sales efforts and pursuits across the L&A insurance industry, selling our software solutions to L&A Insurance companies.
  • Build out and deploy strategies for securing new accounts.
  • Working side by side with account and offering teams, the successful candidate will lead our most complex sales pursuits to ensure growth targets are achieved.
  • Client relationship expert with a broad network to identify opportunities and grow new relationships within the C‑Suite of our enterprise accounts.
  • The Sales Director is responsible for prospecting and nurturing new L&A insurance opportunities through the sales funnel, both sourcing new opportunities, while leading and supporting assigned pursuits.
  • Leads sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of customized modernization and transformation solutions to large and/or challenging clients.
  • Meets/exceeds annual targets assigned to the L&A insurance industry.
  • Works to create a market for defined industries and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
  • Engage with pre‑sales support and client relationship personnel to drive pipeline of qualified leads across a sales territory and/or portfolio.
  • Engages with the same to qualify leads into opportunities.
  • Executes the standard sales process through to closure.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience working within enterprise sales, business development of SaaS/software products in the L&A insurance industry.
  • Deep understanding of the L&A insurance industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience carrying annual and quarterly targets and proven ability to carrying regional goals.
  • Experience working with the technology services consulting industry.
  • Strong track record of sales success, good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level.
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel.
  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment.Must be able to travel.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation:

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $171,300 - $256,900.
