The insurance sales position serves as the growth engine for Howard Hanna Insurance Services. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets and effectively managing client relationships. Through proactive communication with potential and existing clients you will grow the agency's book of business, ensuring client needs are met with the highest standards of service. This will include calling on lost business, unsold quotes and monoline business for account rounding. This role is the face of our agency for existing customers as well as to agency prospects.
Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

  • Regularly contact the lost business list, unsold quotes nearing renewal, and monoline accounts for reviews and rounding opportunities by using Smart Cycle in Agency Zoom.
  • Market all accounts effectively and present tailored proposals.
  • Align business placement with the agency's strategic goals.
  • Engage actively with customers, listening attentively and asking questions to understand their needs and forge strong relationships.
  • Strive to maintain a closing ratio of over 35% by adhering to the new business sales process.
Performance Improvement and Skill Development:
  • Identify training needs and develop a personal improvement plan with managerial assistance.
  • Commit to regularly enhancing technical and sales skills.
  • Aim to improve agency retention, targeting a goal of 93%.
  • Achieve at least 75% multiline accounts on average.
Operational Excellence and Efficiency:

  • Process request for Policy Coordinator to send insurance applications, including obtaining signatures, payments, binding coverage, and finalizing underwriting needs.
Marketing and Branding Support:
  • Share and participate in agency social media activities.
  • Contribute to agency branding efforts, including participating in photoshoots when invited.
  • Aim to obtain 5 new client testimonials monthly.
Administrative Duties and Client Communication:
  • Utilize the management system as instructed, recording all client interactions and updates.
  • Respond promptly (the same business day) to queries from account managers.
  • Actively seek referrals from clients and follow up with new business 30 days post-sale.
