Job description

The Global Sourcing Project Manager, closely partners with merchandising, supply chain, finance, and global sourcing teams to prioritize category opportunities, validate financial return, coordinate supplier enablement efforts and ensures initiatives move from planning to measurable business impact.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Category Strategy & Prioritization
Develop and maintain a rolling multi-year sourcing roadmap across product categories
Identify and prioritize initiatives based on savings potential, supply risk, and growth opportunity
Align sourcing programs with category margin and performance objectives
Financial & Business Case Leadership
Oversee landed cost analysis and total cost modeling
Incorporate required enablement investments (e.g., packaging, engineering, compliance, operational readiness) into ROI calculations
Validate savings projections and margin impact
Partner with Finance to ensure disciplined financial assumptions
Track performance against approved financial targets
Supplier & Program Enablement
Identify capability gaps that may limit supplier scalability
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to close execution gaps
Support product readiness, compliance alignment, packaging standards, and operational integration
Category Growth & Revenue Scaling
Support category expansion and new SKU introductions
Align sourcing initiatives to revenue growth strategies
Contribute to margin expansion through disciplined sourcing execution
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between North America stakeholders and global sourcing teams
Partner closely with merchandising, supply chain, finance, and quality
Remove internal execution bottlenecks and drive alignment
Execution & Continuous Improvement
Ensure sourcing initiatives move from opportunity identification to operational execution
Monitor performance outcomes and variance versus forecast
Strengthen forecasting accuracy and financial discipline over time
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
2-4 years' experience in sourcing, category management, supply chain strategy, or related field
Experience supporting multi-category sourcing initiatives
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Experience working with global supplier networks
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Proven history of scaling category programs and delivering measurable revenue and margin growth
Willingness to travel internationally
DESIRED
Automotive aftermarket experience strongly preferred but not required
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
