Position Summary
This role oversees the complete planning and execution of warranty claims within the PowerFlex business line. It requires direct management of the warranty process, oversight of issue verification, root cause analyses, claim validation, and the planning and execution of warranty repair plans in coordination with internal stakeholders, supply chain partners, and equipment suppliers. This role reports to PROENERGY’s Warranty Program Director with direct accountability to the PowerFLX business line. This position can be based out of Sedalia, Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri, or Houston, Texas.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage warranty claim workflow, ensure prompt processing of received claims, monitor implementation of warranty actions, and facilitate timely resolution of claims.
  • Coordinate tasks, schedules, and both internal and external subject matter expert (SME) resources to facilitate claim assessment.
  • Oversee the warranty claim RCA process.
  • Validate claims per the terms of contract and RCA outcomes.
  • Create and share repair proposals using RCA and SMEs’ assessments.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to execute repairs.
  • Work with supply chain to pursue supplier claims and support cost recovery.
  • Communicate periodically with customers to provide claim progress updates.
  • Monitor warranty cost and analyze and trend warranty claim metrics.
  • Provide periodic reports and escalate warranty fulfillment risks to leadership
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant experience. A college degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PowerFLX EPC scope of service.
  • Technically proficient and familiar with engine and BOP mechanical/electrical parts, O amp;M manuals, failure modes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Capable of interpreting contractual terms related to EPC warranties, OEM suppliers, service vendors, and subcontractors, and able to exercise sound judgment when applying warranty policies.
  • Solid project management and warranty process execution experience.
  • Skills in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and preparing RCA reports.
  • Effective communicator and facilitator of cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willing and able to travel as needed.
  • U.S. work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized Visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
