Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement Leader to partner closely with warehouse leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive improvements across our supply chain value streams, focused primarily on warehousing and logistics. This role is responsible for continuously identifying and executing opportunities to improve accuracy, speed, efficiency, and ease of execution—while designing a scalable future-state operation capable of supporting 6X growth. This leader will work across the value chain with warehouse operations, vendors, manufacturing, IT, and ERP implementation teams to ensure seamless material flow, strong traceability, and digitally enabled processes from end to end.
Reports To: Director WH amp; Logistics
Work Location: 2001 Proenergy Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301
Position Responsibilities
  • Work with the WH amp;L Director to develop and promote a continuous improvement culture.
Future-State Warehouse Design
  • Own the deliverable of redesigning the warehouse for the future
  • Develop and drive the action items from the value stream and kaizen
  • Work with WH amp;L Director to develop a future-state layout, flow, and operating model(s)
  • Work closely with the kitting department to integrate efficient material flow and support manufacturing needs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants as needed to achieve this goal and define with good looks like
Warehouse Value Stream Owner
  • Refresh the Value stream map for Sedalia and Houston Warehouses, develop current and future state
  • Perform gap analysis and action list to close gaps
Digitalization amp; IT Enablement
  • Work with IT to deliver the current projects for WH amp;L (pre- Dynamics 365 implementation)
  • Identify additional impactful IT projects and prioritize – work with IT to deliver preDynamics 365
ERP Implementation Support
  • Support the ERP implementation, working with outside consultants in the capacity prescribed by WH amp;L leadership to ensure we deliver a smooth transition
End-to-End Flow amp; Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth inbound handoffs from vendors and seamless outbound handoffs to the next step, be it kitting, ARM, PKG or direct to customer
    Required Qualifications
    • Prior experience managing warehouse(s)/stockpoint(s), strong inventory management knowledge
    • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
    • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
    • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
