Job description

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Analyst to join our team in supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division's Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Systems Integration Team. Project Management Analyst Responsibilities Includes:

  • Developing comprehensive project plans that define scope, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Coordinating and leading team efforts by assigning tasks, aligning them with overarching project objectives, tracking progress, managing timelines, and fostering motivation within the team to ensure productivity and focus remain high.

  • Providing effective support to our customer by identifying their needs and expectations, establishing strong communication channels to maintain alignment across all team members, and swiftly resolving conflicts or concerns as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience that includes performing administrative activities and financial management, such as resource planning, project scheduling, budgeting, manpower and financial reporting.

  • Experience in performing evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, or systems related to contractual issues

  • Developing work breakdown structures; and preparing charts, tables, graphs and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems

  • Experience with Microsoft Project is required.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Microsoft Project Orange Belt 2016 certification.

Compensation Details:

$60,000 to $80,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
