The Program Manager, Endodontics drives strategic support and operational execution of the Endodontics business line, influencing both current program performance and long-term specialty growth, with a focus on expanding the PDS Health Platform. This role is responsible for originating, developing, enhancing, and deploying Endodontic programs, services, and tools to regional and practice-level teams, in partnership with departmental leadership. The Program Manager collaborates with Regional Partners, Specialty Regional Managers and Directors, Regional Managers and Directors, and Owner Dentists to provide leadership and coaching on Endodontics best practices, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as a trusted subject matter expert and leader in Endodontics within PDS Health, maintaining current industry and specialty-specific knowledge and partnering with internal teams to develop resources that support PDS Health's Platform growth.
  • Partners with Territory and Regional Partners and Regional Leadership Teams to provide actionable feedback, recommend solutions, and deploy resources that drive growth in new and existing Endodontic programs.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to support the development of Specialty Regional Managers and Directors, strengthening their understanding of Endodontic revenue drivers and operational standards required to achieve regional and financial objectives.
  • Leads the design and implementation of Endodontic specialty training and best practices, including team development, training content, and opening procedures, ensuring effective field-level execution.
  • Collaborates with Specialty Operations Support and departmental leadership to ensure regional teams and owner doctors have the resources needed to meet field requirements and company strategy.
  • Partners with Territory and Regional Leaders, Specialty Regional Managers and Directors, and Recruiting and UR teams to align on hiring needs, recruiting strategies, and residency relationships, strengthening current and future specialty provider bench strength and access to care.
  • Influences Endodontic-specific provider contract and compensation standards by assessing benefits and risks of potential changes and providing guidance to field leaders, as needed.
  • Continuously monitors industry trends, challenges, and changes, providing insights and recommendations to the Specialty Director and senior leadership.
  • Analyzes UCRs, contracted rates, and specialty-specific adjustments to advise regional and departmental leaders on market opportunities and potential fee changes.
  • Ensures alignment of the Endodontics specialty with company mission, culture, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Drives improvements in specialty-specific reporting, metrics, and data availability, including hiring, turnover, KPIs, and financial reporting.
  • Analyzes Endodontics market trends, including insurance benefits, emerging technologies, and business risks and opportunities, and advises regional teams and owner doctors accordingly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Willingness to grow, expand, lead, and work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in complex business, managerial, and healthcare; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience with strategic business development, project management, consulting, and data mining.
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Preferred
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration.
