Job description

About Injala

Injala is transforming commercial insurance and risk management through technology. Our platform and suite of products help brokers, carriers, contractors, and enterprise risk organizations manage complex insurance, compliance, and risk-management workflows with greater efficiency, transparency, and control.

As Injala continues to grow, we are delivering increasingly sophisticated technology programs for some of the largest organizations in the insurance and construction industries.

The Role

Injala is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, strategic client programs from initiation through implementation, stabilization, and establishment of the long-term operating model.

This is a high-ownership role accountable for overall program execution and outcomes. The Program Manager will establish the execution structure, drive alignment across internal and client teams, manage risks and dependencies, ensure timely decisions, hold stakeholders accountable to commitments, and maintain clear visibility into program health for Injala executive leadership.

Our programs often span product, engineering, operations, integrations, data, and organizational change across teams in the United States and India. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading through complexity and ambiguity while maintaining momentum, accountability, and alignment with Injala’s strategic objectives.

An important part of the role is helping clients successfully adopt the technology being implemented. This includes assessing readiness, supporting change management, aligning stakeholders, and helping clients establish the processes and operating structures required for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

• Own strategic programs from initiation through discovery, solution design, development, implementation, UAT, stabilization, and long-term operational readiness.

• Translate business objectives, contractual commitments, and solution requirements into clear, executable program plans with defined workstreams, milestones, ownership, dependencies, decision points, and governance.

• Drive execution across internal and client teams, ensure commitments are carried through to completion, and intervene when execution begins to drift.

• Maintain clear visibility into overall program status, risks, issues, resource needs, and upcoming decisions.

Executive, Cross-Functional & Client Leadership

• Lead execution across Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Implementation, and other supporting functions in the U.S. and India.

• Maintain a regular executive-level cadence with Injala leadership to review program health, key decisions, risks, dependencies, resource needs, and strategic priorities.

• Ensure program execution remains aligned with Injala’s business objectives, client commitments, and broader strategic goals.

• Serve as a senior program-management contact for client stakeholders at operating and executive levels, leading meetings that produce clear decisions, ownership, and next steps.

• Navigate difficult conversations professionally and confidently, and escalate material issues with appropriate context and recommendations.

Risk, Planning & Delivery Management

• Proactively identify risks, blockers, dependencies, resource constraints, and potential delivery issues, and drive mitigation before they materially affect outcomes.

• Maintain integrated program plans that reflect changing requirements, resources, and delivery assumptions.

• Coordinate planning across engineering, integrations, data migration, operational readiness, and other major workstreams.

• Manage key milestones, UAT planning, acceptance, launch readiness, and stabilization.

Client Change Management & Adoption

• Assess client readiness to adopt new technology, workflows, and operating processes, and identify organizational or stakeholder barriers that could affect success.

• Work with client leadership to develop practical change-management and adoption plans, including stakeholder alignment, communication, training, and transition activities as appropriate.

• Coach and support client stakeholders through changes in processes, responsibilities, and ways of working.

• Ensure the client is operationally prepared to realize the intended benefits of the solution.

Long-Term Operating Model

• Help define and establish the operating model required to sustain the program after implementation, including roles, responsibilities, governance, staffing, processes, and operating cadence.

• Support recruitment and onboarding of long-term program or operational resources when needed.

• Ensure documentation, ownership, support structures, and escalation paths are established before transition.

• Remain engaged through stabilization until the long-term operating model is functioning effectively.

Continuous Improvement

• Conduct post-program reviews and incorporate lessons learned into Injala’s program-management standards, templates, and processes.

• Help develop and maintain a repeatable Program Management Playbook.

• Contribute to building a scalable program-management capability that enables Injala to execute multiple strategic programs successfully.

What Success Looks Like

• Deliver strategic programs against agreed objectives, milestones, client commitments, and Injala business priorities.

• Maintain clear ownership and accountability across complex workstreams and provide Injala executive leadership with accurate, timely visibility into program health, risks, decisions, and resource needs.

• Keep execution aligned with Injala’s strategic goals while identifying and resolving risks before they materially affect delivery.

• Build confidence with senior client stakeholders through disciplined execution, communication, and sound judgment.

• Help clients successfully adopt new technology and operating processes and establish sustainable operating models following implementation.

•  Help build repeatable program-management practices that strengthen Injala’s ability to execute multiple strategic programs successfully.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in program management, enterprise implementation, strategic delivery, or transformation.

• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs.

• Strong experience developing and managing integrated program plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resources.

• Experience leading client-facing engagements with operational and executive stakeholders.

• Strong executive presence and the ability to drive accountability without relying on formal authority.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in environments where requirements and priorities may evolve.

Preferred

• Experience in commercial insurance, insurance brokerage, Insurtech, enterprise risk management, or insurance compliance.

• Experience delivering enterprise SaaS or technology-enabled solutions.

• Familiarity with software development, integrations, data migration, and implementation programs.

• Experience with organizational change management and technology adoption.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

• Experience helping establish a PMO, delivery methodology, or program-management playbook.

Why Join Injala

Injala is building technology for some of the most complex areas of commercial insurance and risk management. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact strategic programs, work directly with senior client and Injala leadership, and help shape the program-management discipline that will support the company’s continued growth. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and equity opportunities for eligible employees.
