The Product Manager - Insurance Enablement role at Corix, a Hiscox Company is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of product features, enhancements, and integrations that support insurance product development, business growth, and product distribution. This role focuses on improving technology and tooling to make the creation and maintenance of insurance products easier, faster, and more efficient.

Core responsibilities include partnering with Insurance Product Implementation teams to drive enhancements to existing products and enable the launch of new ones, refining underwriting rules and risk assessments, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver operationally efficient and scalable solutions.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the platform supports profitable growth through timely insurance product updates and seamless rollouts with partners. By leading execution and collaboration, the Product Manager accelerates product launches, reduces delivery delays, and empowers distribution channels to offer innovative, competitive coverage solutions to clients.

The Team:

Corix is a start-up within Hiscox that builds innovative insurance technology products and platforms that streamline underwriting and policy servicing, unlock actionable insights, and elevate the digital experience for our brokers and customers. Corix operates as an independent, product-led company while progressively integrating into Hiscox to help transform its business model to be more technology-forward and customer-centric. We leverage agile, outcome-based delivery with cross-functional teams aligned to key business capabilities and shared architectural standards.

As we scale within the Hiscox group, we are focused on modernizing core systems and workflows, expanding our suite of digital insurance products, and continuously adapting to evolving market, regulatory, and technology trends to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the software development lifecycle of new features, products, and technology to support bringing new insurance products to market.

  • Collaborate with Insurance, Operations, Underwriting teams and external parties to build and manage a roadmap of enhancements that drive profitable growth with distribution partners.

  • Lead change management efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure enhancements and new products launch smoothly.

  • Own end-to-end execution and delivery of features and enhancements with dedicated engineering and design teams.

  • Implement new UI, UX, workflows, tooling, processes, and functionality to support bringing new insurance products to market.

  • Manage updates to underwriting rules, risk definitions, rating logic, insurance product definitions, and supporting UX/UI.

  • Coordinate product updates for new lines (e.g., Crime, Excess) and ensure alignment across quoting, submission data, and hazards.

  • Manage updates for quoting workflows, quote letters, binders, and policies.

  • Coordinate with vendors to implement and support insurance product changes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-7 years of proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS company.

  • Strong track record of managing internal and external relationships and leading change management initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business requirements into scalable product solutions.

  • Strong project management skills with experience driving projects through completion.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business, operations, and engineering teams.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and partner demands simultaneously.

  • Nice to have: Familiarity with insurance and/or underwriting systems.

Salary range $135, 000 - $170,000

The actual salary for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
