Job Summary:
Steadily Insurance Company is seeking an Insurance Product Manager to oversee the growth and profitability of their landlord dwelling products. The role involves managing product design, pricing, and filings across multiple states while serving as the subject matter expert on landlord insurance.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Youโ€™ll have ultimate responsibility for the growth and profitability of our Landlord Dwelling products in several states.
โ€ข Identify, design, create, and implement new opportunities and initiatives
โ€ข Enhance the coverage and form language of our existing products. Draft new endorsements.
โ€ข Analyze the drivers of profitability including loss ratios, actuarial indications, frequency/severity trends, retention and other data for all products, books and channels.
โ€ข Manage rate filings in the states to ensure we are priced to achieve the required return across all products and segments.
โ€ข Be the subject matter expert on all things landlord insurance including forms, endorsements, underwriting guidelines, rates, etc.
โ€ข Work closely with the engineering team on programming specs.
โ€ข Assist with the creation of novel underwriting factors by working with both internal and external parties
โ€ข Develop and implement robust data-driven action plans to continually improve performance.
โ€ข Coordinate and collaborate with various internal teams while helping to lead the insurance product function at Steadily.

Required:
โ€ข Direct, related experience in insurance product development is required.
โ€ข Youโ€™ve been a high achiever in insurance for over five years.
โ€ข You have experience managing personal lines products.
โ€ข Bonus points for direct experience in HO or DP products.
โ€ข You have created or edited policy form language.
โ€ข You have a builderโ€™s mindset and can take projects and products from inception to launch and beyond.
