Job Summary

Designs, develops and manages the lifecycle of a product or group of products from concept to launch to end of life. Translates market opportunities and customer demand into viable products and services that differentiate Equinix in the market. Sets the vision and strategy for their product ensuring it is competitively positioned and customer-centric. Manages the product roadmap including features, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Works cross functionally with user experience, engineering, operations, solution architects, marketing and others to design, build and launch new products and/or product features.

Responsibilities

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Identifies improvements to existing product processes; develops a strong understanding of processes and technology

Product Strategy, Vision and Roadmap

  • Completes ad-hoc assignments that assist in the development of product strategy and roadmap

Market, Competitive and Customer Analysis

  • Researches competitors and verticals; prepares atypical reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential

Business Case Development

  • Collaborates on and may create the financial business models, conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with more senior team members

Product Performance

  • Defines metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Designs product training curriculum; participates in cross-functional trainings and meetings

New Partner Identification and Engagement

  • Identifies partners to enhance or extend the product

Backlog Prioritization

  • Supports with backlogs, working regularly with the team to refine and add detail where needed · Collaborates closely with technology teams

Test Case Definition and UAT Coordination

  • Refines definition of allowable configurations, test cases and executes UAT

Stakeholder Management

  • Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions

  • Identifies and proactively includes correct stakeholders and communications effectively

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 99,000 - 149,000 CAD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 103,000 - 155,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
