About this Role
The Senior Product Manager leads strategy and execution for Carrier Electronics products, including residential and light commercial controls and accessories. In this role, the Senior Product Manager will define the product vision and roadmap, align stakeholders to Carrier's business objectives, and drive cross-functional execution across Carrier businesses, shared services, and product teams.
This position can be located at our Carrier office in Indianapolis, IN or Fort Wayne, IN.
Job Responsibilities
  • Own the embedded controls and accessories strategy for residential and light commercial equipment platforms (vision, roadmap, priorities), aligned to Carrier business objectives and financial targets.
  • Drive internal alignment with Carrier business units and equipment/platform teams by balancing priorities across audiences; communicate clearly at all levels, including senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as the embedded controls SME-providing hands-on guidance and support to equipment product and platform teams to enable flawless integration and product execution.
  • Build trust with equipment engineering and manufacturing teams to drive adoption and loyalty-positioning Carrier Electronics Products as the preferred partner for embedded controls, accessories, and service/aftermarket field installed products.
  • Work directly with customers to uncover needs, opportunities, and problems to solve; apply VOC, market trends, and competitive insights to shape roadmap and requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional business planning (forecasts, pricing, margin) and build business cases with financial projections and key metrics (payback, NPV, IRR).
  • Evaluate third-party technologies and suppliers to inform make/buy/partner decisions.
  • Prioritize initiatives, track development, and lead launches-including positioning/value proposition, pricing, and operational launch readiness.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years experience product management, project management or engineering
  • 25% travel domestic and international

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • 5+ years' experience leading embedded HVAC controls integration or residential and/or light commercial equipment platforms.
  • Detailed oriented with strong documentation and change management skill set
  • Ability to influence and hold stake holders accountable
  • Can communicate effectively to build cross collaborative relationships

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
