Job description

Overview

Responsible for the servicing and retention of new and existing insurance customers. Proactively works with customers to provide resources, offer services, and understand their evolving needs at an advanced level. Responds to daily inquiries and handles agency billing. Facilitates workflow and identifies sales growth opportunities. Responsible for the handling, processing, and servicing of new and existing insurance customers. Supports the training and mentoring of less experienced team members as needed.


Responsibilities
  • Account Servicing - Responds to service requests and proactively identified service needs. Manages new and existing insurance customer activities including policy check-in, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and initial claim activity. Performs data entry, processing, and risk analysis at an advanced level. Ensures accuracy and compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • Sales & Support - Develops influential relationships with carriers and customers to achieve business goals and streamline service experience. Identifies sales, coverage, and additional opportunities for existing customers. Responsible for marketing, quoting, and proposal preparation of customer insurance programs. Key stakeholder in customer satisfaction and retention results.
  • Operations - Performs operational tasks that occur during customer, carrier, and associate inquiries. Serves as primary point of contact for customer requests. Leverages technology to gain efficiencies. Trains and mentors less experienced team members as needed.
  • Reporting - Maintains customer notes, assuring proper follow-up and documentation through all elements of the relationship. Monitors claim activity for larger commercial risks and reports to appropriate parties as needed.

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in P&C Insurance OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in P&C Insurance

Preferred Area of Experience: P&C Insurance

License or Certification Type: Property and Casualty License Required
