Job description

The Business Applications team at Zoox is responsible for building the foundation that connects our autonomous vehicle technology with a seamless customer experience. Our team thrives on collaboration, open problem-solving, and supportive risk-taking. You will be part of a growing and mission-driven Enterprise Applications team driving the key aspect of customer enablement and pricing landscape for Zoox, while contributing to our broader dedication to making cities safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your technical horizons across our billing and financial ecosystem while taking direct ownership of a high-volume, high-transaction mediation layer. We are looking for an individual who loves to learn, values data accuracy, and is excited to see their designs directly support autonomous fleet operations.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead the design and architecture of SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) frameworks to process usage, events, and transactional data.
  • Configure and customize mediation pipelines, transformation rules, enrichment, and routing logic.
  • Design end-to-end data flows between upstream source systems, Convergent Charging (CC), and downstream BRIM components.
  • Optimize mediation performance to ensure accurate, low-latency transaction processing and fault tolerance.
  • Establish monitoring dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and reconciliation frameworks to ensure financial compliance and data integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, product, engineering, and external vendors to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience delivering end-to-end SAP BRIM implementations with a specific focus on Convergent Mediation (CM).
  • Hands-on proficiency configuring mediation flows, transformations, and integrations with SAP CC, CI, FICA, or external APIs.
  • Deep understanding of event-based architectures and processing large transactional data volumes.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both a high-level structural architecture phase and a hands-on individual contributor level.
  • Effective communication skills with a proven track record of collaborating across cross-functional technical and business teams.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience in mobility, ride-hailing, telecom, or subscription-based business models.
  • Familiarity with real-time streaming technologies (such as Kafka), modern data pipelines, or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong understanding of revenue assurance and financial reconciliation processes.

$190,000 - $225,000 a year
Base Salary Range
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
