Job description

Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is building a new outbound sales development organization and looking for highly driven, motivated and energetic Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume outbound calling environment. This role is built for individuals who are competitive, resilient, coachable, and motivated by activity, pipeline generation, and performance.

As an SDR at Amerit Fleet, your primary responsibility will be generating meetings and qualified opportunities for our Regional and National Sales team by identifying, researching and engaging prospects in target accounts. Your focus will be on strategic outbound prospecting, with strong emphasis on cold calling, email and LinkedIn outreach and strategic account engagement.  You will utilize enrichment, engagement, ABM (Account Based Marketing) and CRM tools to prioritize and optimize target account outreach to maximize qualified pipeline generation. This is a call-first role designed for high activity and consistent execution.

Compensation:Competitive Pay -Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary Range: $55,000-65,000 base depending on experience, plus commission ($75,000-85,000 on-target earnings)!

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesHigh-Volume Outbound Prospecting
  • Execute a high-volume outbound calling strategy, averaging 200-300 dials per day.
  • Proactively engage prospects through cold calls, voicemail, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Penetrate target accounts and identify key decision-makers across assigned territories.
Pipeline Generation
  • Become an expert in Amerit Fleet's service offering and value proposition and become adept at articulating our value proposition in written and verbal form.
  • Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach messaging and iterating based on what works, utilizing metrics and data. Be curious and test new strategies.  Share learnings with your team.
  • Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team through consistent outbound activity.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to uncover business pain points, operational challenges, and fit with Amerit Fleet's services.
  • Maintain strong follow-up discipline to maximize conversation-to-meeting conversion rates.
  • Maintain persistence and professionalism while navigating objections and gatekeepers.
Account & Territory Research, Strategy and Execution
  • Work closely with leadership to prioritize target accounts and outreach strategy.
  • Perform deep research of accounts leveraging AI and enrichment tools, populating key information into CRM.
  • Leverage tools to find relevant contacts that meet our Buyer Persona and enrich CRM with contact level information.
CRM & Activity Management
  • Accurately document all prospecting activity, call notes, and meeting outcomes within CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Maintain high levels of daily activity while ensuring data accuracy and follow-up execution.
Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in call coaching, role-playing sessions, and ongoing sales training.
  • Continuously improve objection handling, messaging, talk tracks, and qualification skills.
  • Learn and effectively communicate Amerit Fleet's value proposition and market positioning.
What We're Looking for
  • College Degree.
  • 1-2 years of outbound sales, SDR, BDR, or high-volume call center experience preferred.
  • Comfortable making 200-300 outbound dials per day in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence speaking to business professionals and executives.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify the overlap of "high fit" and "in market" accounts and to identify the decision makers within those accounts.
  • High energy, positive attitude, resilience, and ability to maintain consistency and motivation under pressure.
  • Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn and improve quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience using CRM, enrichment and sales engagement tools is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
