Responsibilities
  • Assist with high-volume phone activity, including routing calls and taking detailed messages
  • Perform day-to-day administrative duties such as data entry, document handling, filing, and scheduling
  • Help manage renewals- request and file necessary information for our pre-renewal review (in this case mileage or driver changes - home= any changes to property)
  • Support the sales team by updating customer files and organizing lead information
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail, billing reminders, and follow-up communication
  • Assist on alerts from carriers to ensure any outstanding paperwork, payments or questionnaires are being handled by insured
  • Help maintain an organized and professional office environment
  • Work with agency managers/AP to assist them with their workload
  • Give agent reminders and help see items are being completed
  • Uphold confidentiality and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Be a supportive assistance who is a team player - ready to learn, ready to help and always positive
  • Must obtain P&C license in 90 days

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
  • Ability to work in a family-run, customer-focused office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
  • Insurance office experience is a plus, but not required
