Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

Strong and Hanni has an opportunity for an Associate Litigation Attorney in one of our insurance defense litigation practices. This position will join an established practice group focused on defense litigation. This position will primarily practice from our Sandy, Utah office.

Established in 1888, Strong and Hanni is one of Utah's most respected and experienced law firms. Strong and Hanni is well known for its trial practice both in state and federal court along with its business and personal legal services including commercial litigation, corporate and commercial representation, general business, securities, tax, employment law, construction law, governmental liability, family law, product liability, professional liability and much more. Strong and Hanni with its 95 attorneys is proud of its service to its clients and its reputation in the legal community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to take and defend depositions.
  • Skilled in legal research methods.
  • Ability to brief and argue motions.
  • Excellent writing skills and legal analysis.
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a history of effectively working independently and delivering a consistent work product.

Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of litigation experience.
  • Prior insurance defense experience preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice in the State of Utah.
