Who We're Looking For - Corporate Attorney

The Corporate Attorney has a crucial role in supporting the legal department of Clearlink. The Corporate Attorney will negotiate a wide range of technology and other agreements, maintain corporate governance standards, registrations and filings, and complete some administrative tasks. To be successful in the role, you must be motivated, a problem solver, serious about attention to detail, and want to be involved in all facets of the business. 

The Impact You Will Make
  • Draft, analyze, advise on, and negotiate a wide range of technology and media agreements, including master subscription/service agreements (MSAs), SaaS agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), statements of work (SOWs), data privacy/protection agreements (DPAs), and related agreements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate daily with all Clearlink departments, including providing prompt, practical, business-oriented legal and commercial advice directly to internal business clients.
  • Assist with transactions and real estate matters.
  • Be a problem solver and resource for the sales and marketing departments, explaining issues and risks, identifying and advising on alternatives, finding solutions to overcoming obstacles, and leading negotiations.
  • Help implement and refine Clearlink's contracting process to streamline and optimize the workflow.
  • Assist with maintaining policies and compliance programs.
  • Manage corporate registrations and trademark filings.
  • Assist as needed on other legal matters dictated by business needs.
What You Bring
  • Preferably one or more years of relevant legal experience, but newly licensed Attorneys will also be considered.
  • Transaction or data privacy experience is a plus.
  • Law degree from a law school or other experience that shows excellence.
  • Team player who appreciates business objectives.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with broader team.
  • Creative problem solver who helps find solutions.
  • Ability to clearly translate into lay terms and effectively communicate the legal conditions which affect business opportunities and problems.
