Job description

Controller Location: Phoenixville, PA (Onsite) Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience) Schedule: Full-time
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established and growing organization to identify a Controller to join their leadership team. This position will oversee daily accounting operations, lead a small team, and play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 4+ accounting professionals
  • Provide detailed financial reporting and insights to senior leadership
  • Analyze financial data to support business decisions and improve performance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and corrective actions
  • Oversee commission calculations and reporting
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, cash receipts, collections, payroll preparation, journal entries, and general ledger
  • Ensure accuracy of bank reconciliations and oversight of sales and use tax compliance
  • Oversee tax-related processes including 1099s and sales/use tax accruals
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish financial benchmarks and reporting standards
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and evolving accounting standards
  • Develop and enhance accounting policies, workflows, and operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
