Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller supports the Owners and Director of Finance in the daily financial and administrative operations of a multi-unit and location company. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll-related reporting, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operational support across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial data, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Finance & Accounting Responsibilities
  • Open and process company mail daily
  • Manage accounts payable through the company's automation platform
  • Enter and maintain payable records in QuickBooks
  • Process daily sales transactions
  • Submit vendor payments and recurring expenses online
  • File and pay monthly sales tax
  • Reconcile third-party vendor payment receivables
  • Investigate and resolve payment chargebacks
  • Maintain financial spreadsheets and reporting, including:
    • Payroll hours review
    • Revenue comparison reporting
  • Assist with financial recordkeeping and reporting accuracy across multiple locations

Operations & Administrative Support
  • Coordinate company equipment repairs and replacements
  • Assist with landlord and utility communications as needed
  • Coordinate location closures for maintenance or cleaning
  • Schedule facility maintenance services and inspections
  • Assist with permitting requirements, filings, and documentation
  • Support operational projects and administrative processes
  • Ensure operational tasks and reporting are completed accurately and on time

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
  • 7:00/8:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM

Work From Home
  • Wednesday and Friday
