What You'll Do... As a Controller, you'll serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing the company's financial performance, accounting operations, and internal controls. You'll lead budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and asset tracking, vendor relationships, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can analyze and communicate key financial metrics, support strategic planning and operational initiatives, collaborate closely with HR and department leaders, and drive process improvements that support business growth. You'll also mentor and develop a small accounting team while fostering a positive, collaborative culture built on accountability, confidentiality, and operational excellence.

  • Active CPA license (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive results
  • Experience supervising or mentoring accounting/finance staff
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
