Job description

Choice Property Resources is a well-established, business-to-business professional services firm in growth mode. The Contracts Manager position is responsible for negotiating and managing business class / enterprise telecommunications services, and other service agreements on behalf of our multi-family property clients. This position works directly with service providers and is a great fit for those with analytical skills, business acumen and a strong "figure it out" factor.
This person will work from a home office in the Columbus, Ohio metro area and have the willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for staff and vendor meetings.
Note: This is a fully - remote role and is open to individuals who reside in the Central Ohio area only. To work from home, you do need a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions and background noise.
What You Will Do
  • You vet client properties with vendors for existing provider agreements
  • You review surveys completed by our clients to understand their needs
  • You review and interpret existing agreements to capture key terms
  • You identify opportunities with vendors for new and/or competitive proposals
  • You prepare detailed proposal summaries for client presentations, including financial projections
  • You negotiate business and financial terms of proposals
  • You proof draft contracts
  • You manage a high volume of projects and tasks for a growing B2B business

What You Need to Have
  • You have a strong figure it out factor: You quickly take in information and new concepts, and then effectively apply them in real life, successfully implementing a solution
  • You have strong business acumen: You understand the basics of business, combined with analytical skills, the ability to draw insights, come up with options and refine the solution
  • You're detail oriented and have critical thinking skills
  • You have experience effectively managing and prioritizing a large volume of tasks and projects while staying organized
  • You work independently, implement a plan and meet deadlines
  • You have a high level of self-discipline, organization and prioritization skills and self-motivation
  • You have the ability to effectively work on multiple projects and tasks while knowing how to prioritize

  • You have intermediate to advanced skills with Excel
  • You have two years of experience in related field
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

  • Four-year degree from accredited university or college preferred
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce and Microsoft Office Professional is a plus
  • Experience with telecommunications, multifamily, construction, vended laundry, business class services, enterprise telecom services, and/or rooftop / cell antennae leases is a plus
