Job description

We are seeking an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service, and working in a supportive, family-oriented office environment. Enjoy working alongside our office dog, Gusty.

As an Insurance Account Manager, you will work directly with both current and prospective clients to manage insurance accounts, quote and issue policies, and complete renewals. Experience with home and auto insurance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with new and existing clients regarding insurance needs
  • Quote, issue, and service personal lines insurance policies
  • Process policy renewals and policy changes
  • Provide excellent customer service and timely follow-up
  • Answer client questions and help resolve coverage concerns
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and records
  • Communicate effectively with carriers and clients
  • Assist with day-to-day office operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License required
  • Previous experience with home and auto insurance required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
