• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on individual goals, including psychoeducation specific to perinatal mental health.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions utilizing telehealth technology, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions tailored to the client’s unique circumstances.
• Engage with clients' families and support systems through meetings that foster a collaborative approach to care.
• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and strategize interventions with the multidisciplinary team.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at building community and providing peer support among clients.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation regarding client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Stay informed of local community resources to provide clients with effective referrals for additional support, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards as mandated by the Code of Ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association and relevant state regulations.
• Assist in the maintenance of JCAHO accreditation and compliance with Medicaid and DBH standards.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of program initiatives that align with our mission of improving mental health outcomes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Young Harmony Counseling Services, you will provide care to a diverse clientele, with a particular focus on individuals experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, including postpartum anxiety and depression. You will also address a variety of mental health concerns across the lifespan, allowing for a rich and rewarding experience in different therapeutic contexts.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
• Possession of a valid social work license per state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is essential.
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for professional interactions with diverse client populations and colleagues.
• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third-party source.
• Current authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

• Prior experience in telehealth counseling or remote mental health services is highly desirable.
• Experience working with perinatal populations or in similar mental health contexts is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation requirements.
