Position Overview
MEI Group is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance & CPI Compliance Clerk to help protect the company's vehicle portfolio by ensuring all financed vehicles maintain the required insurance coverage. This position is responsible for monitoring insurance policies, verifying documentation, communicating with customers and insurance providers, and administering Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) in accordance with company policy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
What You'll Do
  • Monitor insurance coverage for all active customer accounts.
  • Track expiring, cancelled, or lapsed insurance policies.
  • Review insurance declaration pages for accuracy, including VIN, lienholder information, coverage limits, and policy effective dates.
  • Communicate with customers and insurance agents regarding insurance requirements and policy updates.
  • Place and remove Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and insurance records.
  • Generate and maintain reports related to insurance compliance.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries while providing exceptional service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable insurance requirements.
