Personal Choice Retirement Service (PCIS) helps companies, and their employees manage brokerage-related products and services in their retirement plans. PCIS is growing rapidly by providing an industry leading platform to better serve the retirement plan needs of Plan Sponsors, Participants, Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and Investment Advisors.

As an Operations Specialist, you will provide a wide range of operational project support to PCIS clients (Plan Sponsors, Participants, TPAs and Advisors) to enhance the client experience and increase loyalty. Analyze and respond to issues related to account management, problem resolution, account transfers, and/or solution-based service enhancements. Accurate/timely data-entry and quality assurance reviews.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for assisting the Personal Choice Investment Services (PCIS) in performing operational functions in a Business-to-Business environment.
  • Collaborate with internal partners in delivery of timely and accurate information in response to service and/or operational functions.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively such as, data-entry and Quality Assurance Reviews by balancing high productivity with excellent service quality while meeting or exceeding established service level standards.
  • Analyzing, researching, and resolving cases by working with manager and communicating effectively with the appropriate internal resources.
  • Participate in on-going projects.
  • Perform duties with confidence, minimal supervision, and sound judgment to mitigate risk for the firm. 
  • Adhere to all compliance/risk procedures and follow corporate and industry protocols.
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Brokerage Operations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail (typing, reading etc.)
  • Must have a sense of urgency, excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex work. 
  • Possess advanced analytical skills with the ability to prioritize complex tasks
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to utilize multiple applications at one time, including MS Word and Excel, internet researching, database systems, and email.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive attitude, team orientation, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
  • Capable of working well with diverse groups and individuals with willingness to learn and assist where needed.
  • Must exercise independent decision making with service requests to balance client satisfaction against shareholder value
  • Must be willing and motivated to deliver proactive communication to clients.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Understanding of rules governing qualified retirement plans and working knowledge of ERISA.
