Job description

Hardenbergh Insurance Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Select Business Unit in Vineland, NJ.

This person will play a key role in supporting the servicing efforts of the Account Managers and Account Advisor while also providing administrative support to the Select Business Insurance Division Manager.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is committed to delivering exceptional client service and operational support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Active member of the phone team.
  • Process requests for Certificates of Insurance, Loss Runs, Auto ID cards, and other proofs of insurance for clients assigned an Account Executive.
  • Provide support and training to Business Insurance Assistant roles.
  • Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.

At Account Manager’s direction:

  • Take first notice of loss / claims reports from clients and report to carrier
  • Process change requests
  • Enter new business into agency management system.
  • Process requests for BOR’s.
  • Respond to client billing inquiries

At Supervisor/Manager’s direction:

  • Process requests for Certificates of Insurance, Auto ID cards, and other proofs of insurance for Account Manager clients.
  • At the Department Supervisor and/or Manager’s request, perform special requests and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have 0-3 years of insurance experience.
  • Must adhere to all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Must be able to navigate insurers’ websites and databases.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and timely both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
