Patient Care:
Prepare patients for dental treatments by welcoming, seating, and ensuring their comfort.
Explain treatment plans and post-procedure care instructions to patients.
Clinical Assistance:
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including preparing and handing instruments.
Take and develop X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and adherence to infection control protocols.
Administrative Tasks:
Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and order replacements as needed.
Process patient payments and insurance claims.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure dental equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues or coordinate repairs.
Work Environment:
Clinical setting, requiring long periods of standing and using hands for precision work.
Exposure to bodily fluids, chemicals, and equipment noise.
