We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at St. Albans Primary Care!


The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient care delivery, and maintaining a smooth clinic operation. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in medical terminology, outpatient procedures, and clinic operations.


Duties:

- Assist healthcare providers in conducting patient assessments and examinations

- Perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, POC testing, and administering vaccinations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems

- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as needed

- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing medical records

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

- Participate in continuous training to stay up to date on medical best practices

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care


Skills:
