Job Summary

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for the customer’s experience with Moss, account revenue and profitability, and project administration for assigned accounts. The AM specifies the Moss products and custom solutions that meet the customer’s requirements. This customer-focused position responds to customer inquiries as the contact between the customer and any other areas of Moss the customer needs assistance from. As the primary “in house” contact, the AM is responsible for providing solutions design, price quote administration. Additionally, they are accountable for opportunity management, growing revenue with the assigned accounts, and project management.

What You'll Do...

  • Manages price quote administration by qualifying new business opportunities to create accurate and comprehensive price quotes.
  • Facilitates meetings with internal resources for opportunity kick-off, estimating, and solution design.
  • Facilitates Project Put-to-Work meetings for large scale projects to align cost assumptions, resources, and timelines.
  • Collects information needed to create an accurate and complete work order acknowledgement which, when approved by the customer, creates the basis for the work order.
  • With the help of the Project Coordinator, manages the customer approval process to ensure that the customer is aware of the lead times, art file requirements, deadlines, and applicable rush fees.
  • Ensures all commercial sign-offs from the customer are in place, including purchase orders, change orders, and submittals.
  • Facilitates Moss Customer Portal transactions and customer adoption, when applicable.
  • Answers questions from Moss Operations departments to ensure that the product meets customer expectations.
  • Performs account and contact maintenance in Moss Operating System and Salesforce. 
  • Proactively manages opportunities and maintains up-to-date information for sales forecasting.
  • Works closely with salespeople to manage assigned accounts and geographical territories.
  • Meets or exceeds sales plans for assigned accounts and geographical territory.
  • Participates in customer and prospect meetings.
  • Oversees assigned projects from initial opportunity, final customer design approval, contract execution, production, packing, transportation, installation, and invoicing. Keeping all departments touching the project advised of status.
  • Maintains all required documentation such as change orders, approvals, scheduling, and client files in Moss OS.
  • Supports finances, when necessary, to help collect outstanding payments.
  • Understand Moss’s in-house and out-sourced capabilities and know the step-by-step details required to deliver a successful project.
  • Responsible for training and day-to- day management of the Project Coordinator assigned to them.

Requirements

What You'll Bring...
