Your duties include answering customer inquiries about coverages and premiums. You also liaise with insurance providers and other members of the customer service team to make sure that your customers are getting adequate service and access to competitively priced insurance products.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an insurance account manager, and why are they important?

  • Value-based and solution selling at all levels of the organization
  • Work collaboratively with partner community to create opportunities, align with strategy and obtain additional support
  • Ongoing learning and development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant sales experience, with a focus on managing mid-to-large size accounts and navigating complex, long sales cycles.
  • Proven track record in selling project-based IT solutions.
  • Experience conducting face-to-face sales calls (an asset)
  • An established client portfolio is a strong asset to accelerate success.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven approach to success
  • Consistently positive attitude, fostering strong relationships with both clients and team members.
  • Passion for emerging technologies, staying up to date with industry trends, and working with cutting-edge solutions.
