We’re currently seeking a Lead Insulation Technician to join our growing team at R-Pro with the majority of work in Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install insulation (batt and blown) in residential and commercial buildings, including attics, walls, basements, and ceilings.
  • Operate insulation blowing equipment, hand tools, and other installation machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Lead and supervise insulation crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to plan daily tasks and allocate resources.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to building codes and project standards.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and enforce all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members to ensure clear expectations, problem-solving, and timely completion of work.

Working Conditions

  • Work in all weather conditions.
  • Perform tasks at heights such as attics, ladders, scaffolding, and commercial ceilings.
  • Enter tight or confined spaces, such as crawl spaces and mechanical rooms.
  • Lift and carry insulation materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with an insulation company or insulation installation experience.
  • Hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, or insulation installation.
  • Ability to safely work in varied physical conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Preferred:

  • Experience with blown-in, batt, or spray foam insulation.
  • Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices.
