Chaparral is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Midland - Odessa. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership skills and technical expertise in mechanical insulation, overseeing multiple projects and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every job site.
Position Description
  • Supervise and manage multiple projects with installers under your guidance, ensuring all work is performed to company standards and client specifications.
  • Apply knowledge of insulating HVAC ducts, HVAC pipes and equipment, and plumbing systems to support project execution and maintain quality control.
  • Review blueprints, job specifications, and submittals while performing accurate material take-offs to support scheduling and procurement.
  • Conduct and lead safety meetings, enforce safety policies, and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory safety requirements.
  • Utilize experience in construction management or mechanical systems, along with an understanding of insulation materials, installation techniques, and project management software, to achieve successful project outcomes.

Position Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Foreman or General Foreman, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and crews.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical insulation systems, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards and promoting a culture of safety on every project.
