This position is part of a multi-skilled team within Central Maintenance at Tippecanoe Laboratories. Operator I Production supports capital and maintenance efforts to maximize equipment uptime. The role involves collaboration with maintenance, reliability, automation, plant/process engineering, and operations.
$3500 Sign-on bonus offered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation and lab equipment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment compliance.
  • Accurately document all work activities and time in SAP.
  • Follow written procedures and verbal instructions while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and departmental functions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, and operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to ESHS protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in required training and demonstrate continuous improvement in job performance.
  • Respond to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requests as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP standards to maintain product quality (SISPQ).

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial instrumentation experience.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or applicable technical training.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturer service manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and with a diverse customer base.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and documentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions (hot or cold conditions).
