Position Description Summary:
The Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA), an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University (GWU), is seeking general neurologists with an interest in stroke, multiple sclerosis, headache, or general neurology.Non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing patient care, teaching students and residents in classroom and clinical settings, and maintaining an active research program.
Minimum Qualifications:
MD or equivalent required. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Neurology, have completed fellowship training, and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and/or Virginia at the time of appointment. Applicants must also provide evidence of excellence in clinical care and education.
