About the Roleย 

ย iCapitalย is looking to hire an Instructionalย Designerย Associate to join the Annuities Platform team. This roleย is responsible forย theย design, development, andย maintenanceย training programs, course curriculum, or other instructional materials or educational tools. This position will design learning solutions targeted at employees, students, or clients of the organization. This individual willย collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that content isย accurateย and thoroughย andย evaluate the results of training programs andย modifyย future programs to better meet training goals. This position reports to the Seniorย Viceย President ofย Engineering.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content specific to Adult Learning.ย 
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts toย identifyย training needs for both internal and external audiences.ย 
  • Define instructional end goals and develop content to achieve those goals.ย 
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.ย 
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.ย 
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.ย 
  • Developย eLearningsย and supportingย mediaย (i.e.ย audio, video, simulations,ย andย role-plays)ย 
  • Design assessment methods (i.e.ย tests or quizzes) to measure content effectiveness.ย 
  • Develop and enhance methodologies for delivering information to internal and external audiences.ย 
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel for customer training materials andย engagementย collateral.ย 
  • Manage and contribute to the artifact repository for all training presentations, including administration in SharePoint andย Tovutiย LMS.ย 
  • Support the companyย and managementย on critical path projectsย and inย cultivating revenue-generating opportunities.ย 
  • Take initiative to broaden and improve skills through participation in educational programs and seminars.ย 
  • Conduct research in support of trainingย objectives.ย 
  • Interact with and train internal and external participants.ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • 3+ย years of experience as anย instructionalย designer or similar roleย 
  • Bachelor's degree inย instructionalย designย or educationalย technology orย aย similar relevant fieldย 
  • Ableย to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scriptsย 
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design modelsย 
  • Proficient using eLearning software such as Adobeย Captivate, Canva,ย andย Camtasiaย 
  • Comfortable in a collaborative work environment building strong and effective lines of communication with colleagues and subject matter expertsย 
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industryย isย preferredย 
  • Experience in designing,ย maintaining, and updating business and technical contentย 
  • Ableย to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision as well as work as part of a teamย 
  • Proven ability toย identifyย and troubleshoot various technical issuesย 
  • Aptitude to learn required software applicationsย 

Benefitsย 

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
